Lech am Arlberg is also a paradise for snowboarders. The snowboard guides at the Lech Ski School are highly trained and will accompany you from your first attempts on the board to your first rides off the groomed slopes. We offer group lessons for children from 8 years old, special youth courses along with private lessons for all ages. Through our advanced lessons we can also offer a tailor-made program that takes into account your skills and riding preferences. Our snowboard instructors have an in depth knowledge of the Arlberg area and can show you the best of what this resort has to offer.

GROUP COURSE

The correct assessment of your abilities is key to determining how well you will benefit from your instruction. For that reason our most experienced snowboard instructors will talk to you one on one to determine which ability class is the best match for you. Group placement is fundamental in maximizing your learning experience.

You can count on our instructors to help perfect your skiing techniques, while ensuring your safety and providing personal guidance to all ability levels - from your first attempts on the piste through to the unlimited pleasure of backcountry terrain.

CLASSIFICATION

Please contact the group coordinator at the snowboard school meeting point (riverside promenade at "Raiffeisenbank" level). Please stand next to the appropriate sign for your ability level: BEGINNER, INTERMEDIATE & EXPERT. The group coordinator will alter the groups accordingly after discussing your ability level with you. Group alterations can be made at any point during the day.

The group allocation takes place from 9:30am to 9:50am at the snowboard meeting point.

LOCATION: on the riverside promenade at "Raiffeisenbank" level


 

CLASSES

Sunday to Friday - 4 hours tuition. Advanced groups are available every day except Saturday. Beginner classes tart on Sundays, Mondays & Wednesdays. All participants require a valid ski pass! Lunch will be taken with the instructor, not included in the price.

Start Time: All Groups  10:00am
Duration: 10:00am – 3:00pm (4 hours of tuition)
Meeting Point: on the riverside promenade at "Raiffeisenbank" level

REFUNDS

  • Refunds for unused days can be issued only in the case of an accident or illness upon presentation of a medical certificate from a local doctor.

  • Service fee per cancellation EUR 25,-

  • Please note that group lesson tickets are valid only for consecutive days and are not transferable!

  • Ski lessons are held in all weather conditions.

Private Lessons

NEW:   Snowboard lesson now available for children from 4 years old using Riglet boards. Beginner to Advanced lessons available.

Individual and undivided attention help to really enjoy snowboarding. It also helps parents to know that their child is well protected with the highest safety consideration. In private lessons our instructors can tailor the lessons to the exact needs of the participant. Whether your child prefers to enjoy snowboarding alone, with siblings or even friends, the personal care offered during private lessons guarantees your child a safe and carefree environment to enjoy snowboarding.

INSTRUCTION

  • Private ski lessons are held in all weather conditions.
  • Rates includes up to 4 hours skiing (max. 5 hours guest service/day incl. breaks).
  • We recommend an early reservation for your desired period.

CANCELLATION

  • Cancellation of confirmed reservations for private lessons is possible without incurring charges ONLY if the cancellation request is received 14 days before the scheduled start of instruction. If cancellation notice is not received at least 14 days in advance, the full amount, as cited in the confirmed booking, will be charged.
  • The price for one person will be billed for each day cancelled in the case of non-participation on individual days within confirmed reservations. 
  • If not all of the available time according to the booking is taken up, the charge will be made according to the booking confirmation.
